Account Deletion

1Delete Directly in the App (Recommended)

You can permanently delete your account from within the Iron Lady app:

1. Open the Iron Lady app and sign in
2. Go to the Profile tab
3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom
4. Tap Delete My Account
5. Read the confirmation message and confirm deletion

Once confirmed, your local session is cleared and deletion requests are sent for your associated LMS and app data.

2Request Deletion Without the App

If you cannot access the App or no longer have it installed, you may request deletion by email:

1. Send an email to admin@iamironlady.com
2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
3. Include the email address registered with your account
4. We will verify your identity and process the request

3What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove or initiate deletion of:

• Personal Information — Name, email, username, and profile details stored in the App
• Learning Data — Course progress, enrollment status, assignments, and related LMS records (via our deletion process)
• Community Content — Posts, comments, and chat messages where community features were used
• App Data — Local tokens, preferences, and session data on your device
• Analytics — Your identifiable usage events will age out per our retention policy (up to 18 months)

4Processing Timeline

⏱ Timeframe: We process deletion requests within 30 days. In-app deletions begin immediately upon confirmation; backend and LMS deletion may take additional time to complete.

5Data Retention After Deletion

Some data may be retained for a limited period for:

• Legal compliance — Records required by law (up to 2 years where applicable)
• Fraud prevention — Basic identifiers to prevent abuse
• Backup systems — Up to 90 days to purge from all backups
• Analytics logs — Anonymized or expired event data per our 18-month analytics retention policy

This retained data is not used for marketing and is deleted after the retention period.

6Alternatives to Deletion

Before deleting your account, consider:

• Sign out — Take a break without deleting your account
• Disable notifications — Reduce interruptions in your device settings
• Contact support — We may be able to help with your concern
