1Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account or use our services, you may provide:
- Account Information — Name, email address, username, and password (stored securely via our LMS authentication provider)
- Profile Information — Professional title, industry, career stage, and other profile details you choose to add
- User Content — Posts, comments, messages, and other content you create where community or communication features are available
- Support Requests — Information you send when contacting us for help
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the App, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information to operate, secure, and improve the App:
- Device Information — Device type, operating system version, app version, and device model
- Usage & Analytics Data — Screens viewed, time spent on screens, course and content opens, login and logout events, session duration, and general app interactions
- Diagnostic Data — App errors, API failures (with sensitive tokens removed), and crash reports including error messages and the screen where an issue occurred
- Log Data — Timestamps, session identifiers, and platform information related to your use of the App
When you are signed in, usage events may be linked to your LMS user ID, name, and email address so we can provide support and understand how the App is used. This means usage and diagnostic data is associated with your identity. We do not collect or store your password in our analytics systems.
1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

2How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the App and our services
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you
- Deliver courses, track learning progress, and show enrollment status
- Monitor app performance, diagnose crashes, and fix technical issues
- Analyze usage trends to improve features, content, and user experience
- Send notifications about courses, events, and important updates (where enabled)
- Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions
2.1 Internal Analytics Dashboard
Authorized Iron Lady administrators may access aggregated and user-level usage analytics (such as login activity, screen usage, and crash reports) through a restricted internal dashboard. Access is limited to approved personnel and is used solely for app operations, support, and improvement.
3Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these circumstances:
- Service Providers — With trusted vendors who help us operate the App (hosting, analytics infrastructure, LMS, customer support tools), under contractual confidentiality obligations
- Legal Requirements — When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
- Business Transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law
- With Your Consent — When you have given us permission to share
Community features: Where community features are enabled, some information (such as your name, profile picture, or posts) may be visible to other users. You should only share information you are comfortable making visible to others.
4Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
- Secure cloud infrastructure (Firebase, AWS, and Moodle hosting partners)
- Access controls, authentication requirements, and role-based admin permissions
- Redaction of sensitive tokens and credentials from error and analytics logs
- Regular review and updates to our security practices
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5Data Retention
- Account data — Retained while your account is active and as needed to provide services
- Usage analytics events — Retained for up to 18 months, after which they are automatically expired and removed from our analytics systems
- Legal & security records — May be retained longer where required for compliance, dispute resolution, or fraud prevention
- Backups — Deleted data may persist in backup systems for a limited period before being purged
6Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction — Update or correct inaccurate information in your profile
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt-out — Unsubscribe from marketing communications
- Data Portability — Request your data in a portable format where applicable

7Account Deletion
You may delete your account directly in the App:
- Open the App and go to Profile
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section
- Tap Delete My Account and confirm
Deletion is permanent. It removes your local app session and triggers deletion requests for associated LMS and app data. You may also request deletion without using the App by emailing admin@iamironlady.com or visiting our Account Deletion page. We will process verified requests within 30 days.
8Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
9International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence (including India, the United States, and other countries where our service providers operate). We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with this Privacy Policy.
10Grievance Redressal
If you have any concern or complaint about the processing of your personal data, you may write to our grievance contact at admin@iamironlady.com with the subject line "Privacy Grievance." We will acknowledge and address grievances in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder.
11Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
